"Mr. Sunshine"
While sculpting this miniature I wanted to play with contrasts, portraying a deformed creature, an outcast. People might judge him for his appearance but his sensibility and kind-heart shine brighter than the sun.
While sculpting him I dedicated most of the time to catch the right facial expression, showing a mixture of emotions such as hope, sadness and shame.
"Mr. Sunshine" is cast in gray resin and comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity and a watercolor print.
